Default Willie Green - Stepping Up His Play

In my opinion, I think Willie Green has been playing great this year. He's averaging 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. In the month of December he's been doing even better, averaging 15 points a night.

The good thing is: Willie isn't afraid to shoot the rock. He's starting to shoot around 15 times a game. He's making around 40% of his shots, lately. That's not all too bad, but, it could be better.

All in all, with the Sixers season this year, I think Green has provided a bright spot for the team.

good post. ummmm not bad for a 2nd rounder we signed him for awhile so i hope he keeps it up. on the other hand he does shoot us outta some games which may not be bad this season. i always viewed him as a band aid for iverson can't walk time. now he's just a numbers guy who will shine here and there ....someones gotta put shots up for us i guess it might as well be this guy for now.

yea louis fiasco is the coolest player on our squad i hope he can emulate that summer league play in the second half give us a solid impression of "realistically" concrete back up combo guard play.

if only we could just draft a leader/ warrior or sign one outta the blue. one of those dirty colangelo, jerry west moves where its clear to everyone but the other team/teams that the fix was in.

Reggie Evans cleans up the boards nicely, too.

Willies been playing better, but he hasn't changed my opinion on him. If we could get expiring contracts for him, that would be great. He's just two inconsistent and not that good.

I'm a fan of Reggie Evans, and he's a good guy to start. Great rebounder.

Saying Willie isn't afraid to shoot is like saying the sky is blue. Now if he could learn to do something else.

Yeah, but his offense is terrible. I've seen him airball hookshots from 3 feet out many times.

Green would suit us starting off the bench IMO. We need to develop Lou more. Kid has a higher ceiling and more abilities on offense. Willie is unique though. If a basketball player could be a running back, it be him.
