I think Williams could a starter when he gets the opporunity. I think if the Sixers don't have a good season and their are teams that are looking for a veteran PG and if the Sixers trade Andre Miller I think he could manage the team. Then again I think Louis Williams better bring his game, the Kings just waived Mustafa Shakur and the Sixers really had an eye on him cause of his court vision and ball handling so anything could happen.

He's developing nicely and could turn into a not-too-good starter or a very good top bench reserve. I mean that in a good way

Best case, Barbosa type that can come in and bring explosive scoring off the bench and start in spots. He kills you defensively, though.

I'm not big on starting him long term, because I think he's liability defensively, but there is no reason to have Willie in over him right now.

If he does start, the Sixers need a big point or combo guard next to him, the same way it was with Iverson and Snow. I think he could average somewhere close to 20 points per game if given the minutes and shots.. then again the Sixers do have a lot of players already who can play both the guard spots. This will only happen barring injury or trade..

I just created a Facebook group to show the praise Lou Williams deserves. Join up if you like his play and what he does for the Sixers

Did anyone watch the game against the Wizards last nite. Here is Louis Williams stat line from last nite.

25pts 4ast 4-4 3pts 10-13FGS.

He is averaging 10.7pts and 3.2 ast per game this season. I been hearing rumors of Andre Miller going to Cleveland or Miami and in the event he is traded will Louis Williams be ready to take over the PG spot.

he's too small to be a starter. he's gonna get abused. But maybe if he puts on weight he might well become the starter we arae looking for after we get rid of miller.

we said AI was too small too.
