So I get call of duty 4 for Christmas, but as soon as I go to try it out, I get the red ring of death. I do have a one year warranty, but I got my xbox boxing day last year, so now I have to fight the crowds and hope I can get it replaced. I'm so choked.

just call Microsoft and get it fixed. I have the ring of death 2.

same thing with me, christmas day, pop guitar hero 3 in, then the ring of death pops up, annoying as hell. third time in 2 years ive gotten the RROD.

Apparently I got a 2 year warranty on it so I can get it fixed no problem. Problem is now I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks.

all 360's have a 3 year warranty out of the box when it comes to the red ring problem.
