Re: Will Dumars make another trade?
Detroit's been trying to move Murray for quite some time now. He's a good offensive player and certainly has value to some teams. Plus, he's an expirer.
Making a trade that would force Stuckey into a serious role before he's ready isn't something Dumars would likely do. If anything, he'll wait until the deadline and see what's available for draft picks. He likes to snag 2nd rounders and has been quite successful drafting them lately.
I think Flip Murray to Washington, Cleveland, Miami, Utah, LA Clippers, or Denver makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised to see us acquire Giriceck or a rookie/2nd rounder that Joe D. likes.
Detroit certainly has cards to deal. If he sees something he likes, he'll probably do something. If he doesn't, he'll let them expire and reevaluate over the summer.
One thing's for sure, there's no glaring weaknesses on the Pistons right now. Everyone seems to be happy and playing well.
