Default What game has the license to have Michael Jordan?

I read somewhere that the reason Jordan isnt in 2k8 is because another game owns the rights to have him in their game. So my question is which game has them?

Electronic Arts had the rights to Micheal Jordan during the 1990's so I imagine they still have the rights today.

2k games is part of Take 2 which is EA's biggest competitor.

I think 1999 had MJ, but EA hasn't had him for the last few games. I don't think they have the rights anymore.

I don't think they have it anymore.

Last Live game I have owned with him in it is Live 2000 but if you got a bball game when he was with the wizards obviously he would be play-able.

Last one I can remember him being in was NBA Live 2003.

NBA Live 2007 for the PC had Jordan in it as one of the 90's All Stars.

He was also in the "legends" roster so you could add prime MJ to any team you wanted.
