Fallout 3 is the shit. I can't believe I didn't try it before.
I spent so much f*cking time on that game.... and loved every second. I hope you got the Game of the Year Edition, because the DLC's are pretty sweet.
Point Lookout was my favorite, followed by The Pitt, and the Broken Steel add-on allowed for leveling-up to 30 instead of 20.
New Vegas was also pretty damn good, especially for big fans of Fallout 3, but it just didn't seem to have the charm and depth of its predecessor.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful the developers decided to release a "Fallout 3-1/2" instead of waiting 4-6 years to release a completely new game, but it is what it is.... a continuation of the style, gameplay, and mechanics. Nothing significantly new.
Ok, it's been a few days, and don't want this thread to dry up on us. Finished Ninja Gaiden 2 on Normal, and about to wrap up Ninja Gaiden Black in a day or 2. Recently started practicing playing NBA2k11 using "Action Camera 5 zoom-1 height".
This is the trickiest camera angle to play in, but it gives the game a new twist so it doesn't get stale. I mastered Icon Passing first, so I don't have to see the Button Icons over the players, and pretty much stick to running plays until they break down.
One thing I like about this game is no matter how good you get at it, the CPU will always stay competitive, so you never feel like you're just going through the motions. You still have to stay focused.
