Default Elton Brand a Heat?

You think the Heat would pull off this deal to get Elton Brand.

Heat send Udonis Haslem and Dorell Wright to the Clippers and the Clippers send Elton Brand to the Heat.

PG-Williams
SG-Wade
SF-Davis
PF-Brand
C-Shaq

Could this be the future lineup?

If it is then they'd be the most injury-prone team in the NBA. I like them either sticking with what they've got or trading for some young, healthy talent.

And the Clippers would do this why? Yes, the Clippers can be a stupid organization, but not THAT stupid!

I think that it's possible they'll trade him, just probably not to the Heat. Anyone have any other ideas as to where he could go if the Clippers decide to rebuild?

How do you figure? He's had this achilles injury in the offseason but before that, he was an iron man... except in 01-02 when he played 62.

Since when does one year of injuries = injury prone? He's an iron man...unlike someone on your current squad.

Stupid only when it comes to drafting, otherwise, in free agency their alright, trading is where they are the best at.

Regardless of that you still made an incorrect statement about Brand.

No way the Clips would do this. They may not be the smartest franchise, but they won't trade their best player for a solid 4 and a bench player. They don't need Dorrell Wright anyways..

Haslem and Wright for Brand? You are dreaming. This makes no sense for the Clippers. Once they have Brand, Maggette, and Livingston back, the Clips could be a playoff team. Which is more than I can say for the Heat in the near future.

The only way that this would make sense is that they decide to build around chris kaman and so they get rid of brands contract for haslem and dorell. But I doubt that will happen.
