depends if you're more into the arcadey style racing or the sim style racing
for sim i'd go with forza 2. you can completely customize out your cars. since its the sim style though you hafta brake early going into turns, which can kinda suck if you just want to gun it and skid out on every corner.
for arcadey i'd go with either project gotham racing 4 or DiRT. pgr4 has bikes and cool cars to choose from, also has great racing environments. DiRT is a rally racer, it's really fun, and has a great feel to it. get the demos of these if you can.
i went for forza over dirt as i thought it was a more complete game, but i regret not getting dirt for the fun factor.

Thanks. I'll keep those in mind.
That new ATV game looks good too. Probably fun with friends, huh?
No, but I did have one for my older Xbox. They really make a difference for the experience. You have to get a quality one though. Some will have bad steering reaction. I would look at reviews online before purchasing.
Are any of the Burnout games on 360? Their my favourite arcade racer. I've got Forza, but I hardly play it because I don't really like realistic racing games. I want to floor it and smash into **** and not worry about what happens.
