I broke my wrist aged 9 and played left handed for a few months, so my lefty is pretty good.

I can easily beat you in a game of one on one or five on five. You said you have a tough time against quick defenders... I have quick feet and move my hands actively and I love to play defense and take my opponent out the game.

My ballhandling is much like Tony Parker, and I am as quick as Leandro Barbosa. I'm a slasher, and a point guard. I pass like JKidd, but my layups are circus shots and acrobatic moves.

I forgot to mention... I love the fastbreak!

I've worked harder on my game than you. I've put in the work, good things will happen to me on the basketball court.

that's the diffrence between me and you... the game comes naturaly to me. You have to work for it, and how do you know I don't work on my game? every morning at 5:30 i'm at the gym working out, then I run and then I work on my ball handling skills. that's every day! no breaks.

oh yeah and here's my secret...

milk.

not trying to put you down, just trying to make you better.
take what i told you about me, and now work on it. work on your weakness, and when you get tired, say to yourself, "somewhere j Fresh is working harder than me".

As an under sized power forward i would have not much advice for you. but when you are pushing the ball up the court don't run full speed and just kind of swivel the ball around. i some times run the court because I have some pretty good handles and i find that the defender in front has no chance while he is running backwards to keep an eye on me so i swivel eventually i will catch him off guard and blow by him.

And that's good because? Ignore this guy, he's just BS-ing, this thread was for 20 Dimes a Game on tips on how to improve his game, not for you to come in here and say how good your game is.
Jeez.

i don't understand how you're ranked 4th for your age, and in an older age group you dont even start, yet are ranked even higher in the nation.

i highly doubt a back up point guard is ranked 3rd in the whole nation.

I agree. It seems to me that you are just trying to show yourself off, but then contradicted yourself. That's why you refuse to answer jbots request.

obviously theres nothin u can do with ur height so just take what god gave ya. when you're younger (10-14) u should play a lot and also work on fundamentals. it may seem stupid at that age cause no one wants to do this but as u get older ur skills will be above the rest.

work on shooting drills, dribbling drills, off hand drills, post-up drills, and mainly have fun with it or else you'll get burnt out and lose motivation. most ppl dont wanna do something they're not good at. so they don't work on the things they're not good at! so when you play take note of what you need to improve on and work at those things.

as you get older puttin in work in the weight room will benefit u quite a bit. this will help your jumping ability, speed, endurance, etc, depending on how and what ur lifting. but yea keep working on ur skills and have fun
