p.s. I think we all miss Jerry as well...!!

Ben Wallace not a superduperstar???

I think he's a unique case where he probably is the best defensively but has 0 and I mean 0 offense so it's hard to consider him a superstud. I think you have to play both ends of the court so in that way Sheed might come ahead of Ben... some analysts even question ben's HOF future b/c they're like if a guy can't hit a jumper, or a free throw or have anything close to an offensive game then maybe he doesn't belong in the HOF. On the opposite end I'm sure there are some HOF people that were brilliant offensively and terrible on D, so maybe it's not fair to not include ben. I mean alot of people r sayin $15mil/yr is overpaying big ben and all the Kobe's and KG's n Shaq's would b considered a bargain for that price so??

Default no superduperstar is rare....

Detroit is sort of an exception except for the fact they had
4+ allstars, were they really different from the Larry Bird Celtics
era? They had 4+ allstars..... Hard to say they were all
that different.

I stick to the idea we need 2 top-10 players on our team
to dominate. Make the trade Mitch!!!

yes, the were REALLY different. Bird was a definately a "superduper" star. He just had some serious talent around him. I agree with you though that we would love another top-10 player...it just ain't gonna happen because the other GM won't trade a star (unless he is getting old and the team wants to re-tool).
