Default Wednesday 16 January 2008

Artest and Bibby will be back and our whole team is finally healthy.

Soo many players, not enough minutes to go around. Hopefully Salmons doesn't pout again.

Is ARTEST also returning tomorrow? I think the team is doing wonderful ( in spurts) as in defeating Dallas, but as I said a week ago or so, we lost 10 games by 5 points or less, so we are really a much better team than shows on paper ( win-loss) column.

Artest was supposed to be back during the 2nd half of this week, so it is a possibility.

"Ron Artest went through a full practice with the Kings on Monday and reported no setbacks in his elbow, which recently needed surgery to remove bone chips.
"I practiced the whole time," Artest said. "I had no swelling. I'm two weeks ahead of schedule. I'm not rusty or anything. I just have to get my legs back under me. But I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait to get back with my team." Artest and Mike Bibby (thumb) are both expected to rejoin the Kings on Wednesday. Both players will initially come off the Kings bench, but should quickly resume their starting roles."

Looks like he's good to go.

Not to be pessimistic, but Martin and Bibby were going 100% in practice a week before they came back.

It would be great to see all the Kings together again.

Any word on garcia?

Once these guys gel somemore, they'll be a force...

They have the ability to drop in 100+ every night... When Bibby, Artest and Martin are all 100% and back into the flow... they'll be deadly.

Can't wait to see the minute spread between Martin/Artest vs. Salmons/Garcia.

I know people will tell me that it's easy to say in retrospect, but this team will never be a force. They will definitely be a dynamic offensive team, but aside from Artest they don't really have any D, so the only way they will be able to beat teams is by outscoring them. If healthy, together, and performing at their best (had they been together all season), i'd give this team about 42-45 wins and a first round elimination (if playoffs).

in retrospect...that's easy to say... ;)

hehe but really...it's true, and i don't think i'd even want to make the playoffs this year (assuming a healthy everybody all season)

So much for all the players being healthy, from the way they played I say go back to the lineup that was working while Bibby and Artest were injured.
