I’m not there!
I heard of this deal where we trade Kwame + Mihm (Contracts will expire) plus a filler for Shaq.(Just what I heard fellas)
Lakerfreak, Maybe I'm wrong but why are we going to deal for Jkidd? We have to great PG's in an offense that doesn’t necessarily require a great pg but the requirements are basically a pg who can shoot and defend.(Fish/Farmar)
If we are going to trade our version of Big Ben, then I would like a big in return.
We need to sing Cwebb. We need to keep Kwame Brown. Yes, that’s right. You heard me correctly, we NEED to keep him. (Unless we fine another big who is at a cheap price, who can bring defense, rebound and has some experience) We need to resign Kwame to a 2-3 year/ 10 million dollar deal. We need to get another big, someone like a Cwebb, a veteran pf/c who can bring something new to this team. A guy we can use in the playoffs and down the stretch alongside Bynum, Kwame, Turiaf.
at our next home game, crowd should chant in song - "all we are saying....is give Kwame a chance"....man, last night was just tough to watch. We got 2 more months of this, so hold on to your butts.
I just personally don't know about javaris. He seems he's all style and he tends to turn it over a lot.
Yeah but that’s because he's raw. He is just so young and raw. He looks like he is going to be good. Although he doesn’t seem like the true Pg type, he looks some where along the lines of a Gilbert or Allen Iverson. He shows signs of becoming a great defender. I Still think JKidd is the 1st or 2nd best pg in the league(If he isn’t the first, he is behind Mr. CP3)
sitting in my house, i can curse kwame out all i want, but when you're in the staples center you got to back your team up....not tear them down....although, i dont hold it against those fans for what they did last night....
everyone was still in shock from the bynum injury and have let their emotions steer toward hatred for kwame....
the truth is, it looks like kwame is in fact our center for the next two months with mbenga as our backup.....yikes...
for me personally, if we can just play 500 ball until bynum gets back, ill be ecstatic...
and lastly, when bynum does in fact return....there should be a fukcing parade in his honor....:)
I was disappointed in the fan reaction. It was not smart. Any real bball fan would know the impact that such negativity brings in the immediacy of the moment.
Yes, hang your head in disappointment, but do not vocally boo when the ball goes in to him. stupid. but, fans will be fans.
It will be interesting to see how PJax addresses this in the next game.
I understand that people have off nights sometimes but there are off nights and then there is the night Kwame had yesterday. It was one of the worst games I may have seen anybody in the NBA ever play. To a certain extent he got what he deserved with the boos. The team is a completely different team with Kwame instead of Bynum. People try to say Kwame's defense is better but at this point I don't believe so. He is just so bad offensively, the only thing he does ok sometimes is play defense, but that certainly doesn't make him a specialist. He's just a big body, nothing more. He can bang around with some big guys. That doesn't necessarily make you a good defensive player. I think opposing teams are more scared of the Lakers defense when Bynum is in there. At least he'll block a couple shots and he definately does a better job rebounding.
This is what Kobe subliminal message really is... :
- Kobe Bryant on Kwame, "I thought [you Kwame are] terrible actually. I don't think [you] should react to that and if [you cannot play like at a professional level then you] should stay home. [You are] going to [be my] center for two months and if anything [you] should [be able to] support [us]. [Don't] tear [us] down. [You] going to be our guy here for two months. We're going to ride with [you]. 'I [am watching your] back. [In other words, I am watching you like a hawk]. I don't care how many times they boo you [but if you suck more, you are outa here by season end].'"
"He's our guy. We've got to continue to pick [on] him. He's going to do fine [in the turnover department]. He's going to play well [only if you prod him with cattlewhip behind him]. He's going to play well next game - and they should chant his name [and boo more] next game [or Trade me!]."
Finally - "They're Laker fans. They [are] here to support us and help us win - [and should] boo a guy [some more to help him improve his game]. Kwame is sensitive [he got girly hand]. If you boo him, it's going to affect him [to change]. I think everybody here wants us to win - and we want to win. We have to do things that are going to encourage our guy to perform well and next game he'll do much better."
For Jason Kidd?
And why would NJ want any of those guys for Kidd?
Well I have no clue why you're laughing. It all depends on what you want to do. If you're looking to rebuild, you need expiring contracts, picks, and young talent. I believe that is what NJ would be seeking if they were looking to rebuild.
With Nets and Pacers talking a VC for JO trade, I would assume they would trade Kidd too. We should try to become front runners and get him.
