Damn that sux.

Well, because PF and C tends to be in those area so risk of stepping on somebody's foot or they step in your foot is highly likely...so it's hard to find fault on those guys. Oh well, looks like we'll be lucky if we make it back to the 8th seed from the 10+ spot.

Unfreakingbelievable!!! The Lakers are cursed!!!

So, here's who I think is out right now and who is injured:

1) Bynum - Out
2) VladRad - Out
3) Mihm - Out
4) Ariza - Out

5) Walton - Ankle
6) Sasha - Ankle
7) Kwame - Knee/Ankle (still recovering)

This is painful!!!!

I just remember...this news aint gonna attract anybody to come join team. C-Webb already knows his answer now. Oh well next year. Can they stay low on the injuries for 1 year?

I agree... it actually pisses me off when people make Odom comments related to Bynum or Ariza... I'd ask kindly that those that are making these comments please think about what you are saying and realize that there is no correlation. Its just obnoxious.

Forward Trevor Ariza got dangled up with Lamar Odom on Sunday during practice and has been diagnosed with a fracture in his right foot.

Ariza will see a foot specialist on Monday, where a timetable will be determined.

Besides being a stopper on defense, Ariza is averaging 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 18 minutes a game.

http://cbs2.com/sports/Trevor.Ariza.....2.634243.html

Listen, I understand that Lamar *tries* to play hard, and occasional has a big game on the boards, but his productive games are less than 50% of the time, and I honestly think his overall lack of smarts is what is causing him to bang up his teammates. It's well known that he's a 'rebound thief' and goes after boards that other Laker are in better position for, that's how Andrew got injured, and could possibly be behind Ariza's injury as well, although since there's no video of it, we'll never know. It was also one of his "I saw it coming a mile away" offensive fouls that knocked Ben Wallace into Kwame's legs taking him down for an extended period, another play that if he had any smarts at all he never would have made (driving left? Lamar? No way, who woulda thunk it? Ben Wallace doesn't play defense, I'm sure he'll get the blocking call....).

I'm not even going to get into the stupid "Hair Star" he was sporting until a few weeks ago. I also think Kobe gets incredibly frustrated with Odom's lack of focus at terrible shot selection during crunch time, and I don't think the two of them have ever gelled at all.

So there you go, me expanding on why he's a "cancer" to this team. It includes his lack of smarts, inconsistent play, overpaid contract and knack to injure both himself and his teammates with alarming regularity.

Not one damn bit surprised. I really love how hotsizzle still continues to support this 13/9/3 underachieving jinx. It's become so comical right now reading everyone's posts.

First its not good to trade LO for Marion, or Kidd....then he injures Bynum, injured Ariza, and gets himself injured on occasion.

The guy is a mess. He's become so contagious with these injuries. Now we probably cannot win any games and it'll be the same situation as last year where we get everyone back in time for the playoffs and lose a lot of chemistry from a lack of practicing as a team. Then we get killed in the first round of the playoffs and you know what happens next from there....

Why can't we just move Odom to somewhere else where he would be happy? He's never fit into this system, always struggled to make outside shots and consistently become an offensive force when we needed him to be, and more recently, bringing down other guys with him.

Im sick of him. I want him out of LA completely.

YOUR SO NAIVE. odom didnt injure them you think he did it? they fell on his foot, how is he suppose to know when hes trying to get a rebound you think hes looking down?!

You know nothing about basketball odom does all the dirty work. Marion strives off of nash. You know what if we do end up getting marion some how and he doesnt do **** i want to see you complaining about that either

Odoms been doing what he needs for the team to win...they have a better team so his avg is down. Now that bynum is out he will step up.

Please dont speak about lamar like he injured them he didnt do it on purpose hes the only one trying to get rebounds. He has 13 offensive rebounds the other night. While he might take some ill-advised 3's and jumpers, he does play defense and he does do the dirty work (boards). You think marion would fit into our system if odom cant? Marion strives off nash so much watch 1 suns game.

Get a load of this guy. OMG!! Shame on Odom because he didnt look into the ground when grabbing a rebound and moved his ****ing foot accordingly.
