Need

with Ariza out, we are down to Luke as our only true SF (or am I forgetting about someone?).
As much as we need help at center, maybe we should pick up a SF for that last roster spot.
Turiaf can back up both center and PF. Only backup for Luke right now is...
Kobe (Fish and Farmar/Sasha in the backcourt).

You’re right. I haven’t really gave it some thought until a few minutes ago but we are relatively thin at the SF spot. Well, in a way not really because LO is a Sf, but we need him at the 4, and maybe the 5 in some situations because we lack some depth (Fukc remember when we started and we had too much depth at the 3 and 5)

We still have Luke, and we can throw kobe at that 3 spot, and maybe see LO get some run at the 3

Kobe could play at the 3, but re-swizzling things around like that could get ugly.

2- Sasha
3- Kobe
4- LO
5- Kwame

I am not sure how much I like that.

I think we will see A LOT of that lineup (or replace Sasha with Farmar and DFish can defend the 2). I think we will see a lot of Kobe at the 3.

Much will depend upon the opponent, but we may shift to small ball:
Fish, Sasha/Farmar, Kobe, Odom, Turiaf

Kobe at the 3, could we stick farmar in at the 2. He seem to be hittin those 3s atm, and seeing as the true triangle doesnt need a specific pg. have both farmar and fish running the tri would be sweet.

Dont forget Colby Karl he could prob play SF, though Im not sure we could trust him with enough minutes yet. I doubt we will sign or trade for anything meaningful at this point.

Fish had some success playing the 2 alongside deron williams. Him and farmar can play short stints at the guards together while playing kobe at 3. Sucks though because our strengths against a lot of teams was playing big inside with LO and Bynum, but we are going to have to explore other options. I think having 2 shooters who can handle the ball in fish and farmar would be effective against smaller teams
