That was the band Macabre. They dubbed themselves "murder metal" (a mixture of thrash, grind, death metal) and well, all their songs about serial killers. They have an entire album dedicated to Jeffrey Dahmer. Some of their song titles are simply priceless:

Albert (Fish) Was Worse Then Any Fish In The Sea
Jeffrey Dahmer And The Chocolate Factory (This song is on their Myspace profile. A true classic.)
I'll pick a few random songs from the various genres I like:
I won't even bother trying to pick out songs from the heavy metal genre, but who can hate this song? I dunno, I guess I like metal that takes itself too seriously sometimes, like Manowar.
