So...now what?
So Ariza, Bynum and the rest (Radmanovic, Sasha, Mihm) are OUT, what will happen? At playoff time? Or at season's end?
My guess:
Fisher, Lamar, Luke and the rest of the team have to step up and deliver much more than usual. Fisher and Lamar has been - on and off. But at their payscale, they should be doing it more consistently. Luke has just been flat like a fLuke and plays like rookie, it's doubful he can do any better.
Kobe might decide that to shoot more. Or might have to if the rest of the team are still flat or have low morale just to stay afloat. But Kobe knows that the one-man show won't get him a title and will get him all frustrated again.
The odds are against them. They can do it, but Fish, Lamar, and Luke has to deliver at least 20+ a game avg. But they haven't, so it is unlikely to happen anytime soon. Likely they will fall off the West conf 8th spot due to the long road ahead. And when they do loose, they'll just blame it on not having complete team to mask the inept or deficiencies of the other starting position. There will blame on fan booing Kwame and putting team to low morale.
They be lucky to hang on the the 8th spot.
By the time Bynum or Ariza are back, they'll need sometime to adjust. By the time they adjust, the season is already over. By then it's summer, it makes it even harder for Kobe to decide whether to stay or go after next season since he has not seen much consistencies to solidify his decision on staying.
What ya guys think?
