Not too sure about that. Their main problem is defense, so unless you replace AI with a Glove-like pg, they're still going to give up points with a real pg.

We had Andre Miller, and we were not playing a whole lot better with him.

Give Denver a better coach plus a some reliable shooters then this team will be number one in the west.

What a silly topic.

What the heck? I mean lets blame Allen Iverson for the team's poor coaching, the teams horrible defense, lack of shooters and our injuries.

If Allen Iverson cure cancer he still wont get props from silly fans such as you.

iverson is shooting 45% this year and 33% percent from 3point range. thats not bad.

the defense is everyones fault. theres only like 3 players on the roster that attempt to play D.

Denver's quite a bit better with Iverson than they were with Andre Miller. I'm not going to look up the specific record difference, but it was the 10-1 streak at the end of last year that put them in the playoffs, so quite obviously they improved with AI and have continued to this year. What a fu*king STUPID thread.

PS- AI has a higher PPS than Dirk this season.

uh...no.

Iverson don't hurt this team defensively, he rarely leaves his man open and he normally guards the opposing PG which will normally pass the ball instead of shooting it.

Plus how the heck is it iverson's fault that JR is inconsistent? that LK cant create his own 3 point shoot unless someone like Iverson penetrates and kick it out for him? That Athinks cant score even with a porn star at this point?

We don't have have many reliable mid-range shooters expect Melo and Iverson. Camby loves that mid-range but will miss 60% of the time, Carter is good but will miss his fair share.

Our problem is our coach, plain and simple.

If you traded AI for Chris Paul or NAsh they would lose half their games 125-120

Denver don't guard anyone. That's why they're 25-16 instead of 30-11. Offensively, they're great and AI is a huge part of that. You can argue that he isn't the best defender in the league but he's hardly the sole reason they're awful. If anything, they'd be better off with a John Salmons/Francisco Garcia/Keyon Dooling type starting at the 1 along side him - someone who can handle the ball and initiate the offense and has the size to guard the other team's 2 man.

To say Denver would be better off without him is just ridiculous. He's the only true playmaker they have. Carter would be a backup on nearly every other team in the league - he's just lucky he's in a situation where a) Denver has nobody else and b) he gets to pass the rock to 2 of the top 5 scorers in the league to keep his numbers looking decent.

Iverson isn't the point guard.

Allen Iverson is too popular for people to see the validity in anything you're saying.

You can't see something that's not there. His statements in this thread are just wrong.
