Zero chance, he was the 2nd option for alot of this first half of the season but seems to be rounding into for now as "the guy" again and plus there are so many other viable candidates this year (lebron, kobe, kg, paul, nash)
Problem is, his teammates are being recognized more for the team's success. Terry, Harris, Stack, Howard - these are becoming (or already were) household names. He doesn't stick out on that team as much as he did before. Kobe, Lebron, Dwight Howard stick out because if they have an off-night, their teams lose. Period.
This is why I don't expect Garnett, Pierce, or Allen to be seriously considered in MVP talks. Nobody stands out. One of Kobe, Lebron, and Dwight will win it. Most likely the one with the best record.
don't get this obsession with MVP. mavs and their fans need to only be obsessed with winning the championship. dirk's already been recognized as an MVP, and frankly him and nash are good enough to get that recognition once in their career but any more would be over kill.
