If I were Chris Wallace,Id be really looking into doing this trade at the deadline

Igoudala fits much better in whatever the **** we're trying to do here in Memphis and he is a much better defensive player than Gay and he can actually do something that Gay cant,"Pass The Ball" which could help us maybe become a more half court offense in a style similar to what is being used in Houston.

If that deal doesnt work out,

This whole situation amazes me,seriously Fire Ivabaloney

lmao you need to stop doing drugs...

its his second year and hes improved is scoring average by 9 points what else do you want from the guy

i dont like gay at all, but trading him at this point would be dumb. just teach him how to play team ball instead of one on five every possession and you're all set.

I did expect the Grizz to compete this year fora 7th or 8th seed, and in 08-09 contend with Phoenix,Dallas,San Antonio,Utah, and Denver for a top seed

Im just comparing their style of play.

Elliott was a ballhog for the fact that when the ball came to him it usually never left his hands, similar to Gay.

I say trade him now before we sign him to a huge contract for the numbers he put up this season.

I have no doubt in my mind he will ask for a huge extension.

I really wouldnt mind me of we did some deals like this:

Quote:
Phoenix:Hakim Warrick,Stromile Swift,Damon Stoudamire,Kyle Lowry,2008 1st Round Pick
Memphis:Shawn Marion

Quote:
Houston:Rudy Gay(Sign and Trade),Brian Cardinal
Memphis:Tracy McGrady

How would we not compete playing a Hard 8 Rotation Of:

PG JCN
SG Mike Miller
SF Tracy McGrady
PF Pau Gasol
C Darko

Bench:
Shawn Marion
Mike Conley
Bobby Jones
Athletic Big Man-2nd Round Pick
Undrafted 3 Point Specialist Here
Veteran PG Here
Veteran PF Here

Thats a championship team right there.

I love watching players like Gay when there are no other good games on or they are playing against the Lakes. He needs to step up improving his shot because everytime he shoots it doesn't seem like it's going to go in, even the few times that it does

Gay shoots a solid 47% from the floor 39% from 3 77% from the line

When I watch him, he even bricks the wideopen-no one within five feet of him shots, but maybe I just see him on his off nights??

But you know what they say, the stats tell all

Great #'s, especially for a 21 year old 2nd year player. He may be on a bad team but it's not like he's mindlessly chucking them into losses.

With Memphis it's a matter of Mike Conley developing. I think Iavaroni will have a good offensive system in place for when Conley matures and becomes many are expecting him to be.

If you watched him play you'd have a much different impression. Because stats seem to matter so much to some here's another. Gay might average 2.7 assists per game but that's also the amount of passes to a team mate per game he averages aswell

yep..I the games I've seen of memphis he's clearly not a chucker. He's also the clutchest player on the team. The only guy on there as clutch as Gay is Carlos, the Spaniard rookie.
