He's a great shooter, but out of nowhere was cut by the Bobcats last year. He could possibly be a Jeff McInnis type player, (attitude wise.)

the Nets are still banking on Lamond Murray and Antoine WRight to provide the regular bench rotation's shooting numbers.


but if Rush can provide anything at all, this would be a good thing. if not, it would have been a damn shame he took Mile Ilic's roster spot.

I read that they were interested in House and Rush. I'd prefer Rush, but it seems as if he was cut for lack of work ethic. Frank has no tolerance for that, as seen with Jeff McInnis. He's a streaky shooter, and he definitely could help if he's beenw orking hard. If not, let him stay on the cut list. He only has a rep for those 6 threes he made against the Wolves in the WCF.

Rush is a left handed shooter which may come in handy in certain matchups against weaker defensive benches.

The only way we get House is if we buy out McInnis and use the LLE on him.

Ya Rush had some attitude problems with Bernie. But he is talented and would help the Nets bench which will need depth.

We'd have to work a hell of a sign-and-trade to bring Harrington to NJ...

Yeah, but he wants around 10 mil a year, money the Nets don't have. So for the Nets to attain him they would have to come up with a crazy s+t.

The Net's do have some expirers, a trade exception and some other pieces to work with. Troy Murphy has a similar deal to what Harrington may want --

McInnis (Hawks coould use another PG)
Nochbar (short deal)
Plananic (if necessary)
Trade Exception (not sure if it can be combined)
Rights to Illic

Then I would try to sign House instead of Rush since we may need another player capable of playing the point, plus he is a scorer for the bench. I also don't want Rush if he has "issues" -- enough with players such as that.

A very versatile line-up.

As for Al's rebounding... I wouldn't be that worried.. its gotta be better than Collins'... plus that's the great thing about having 3 of the best rebounding PG/SG/SFs.

Harrington may never find a role on the Nets.


the reason he left Indy two seasons ago was to find a starting spot. he found it with the Hawks... even though Indy offered him a decent multiyear contract as a 6th man.

but now that Artest and Peja are gone, Johnson has a clear role if he returns to Indy.


with the Nets... he may never find a spot behind Carter and Jefferson.. unless he becomes a ver ygood shooter.. which he is not.
