really why do you spend so much on nikes

its not like they are pradas, feragamos, or guccis?

It's all the same...each sneaker doesn't really take that much to make. It's just different labels... So if I spend 100+ on a pair of Nikes and you spend the same for a pair of Pradas, it's the same concept.

unless ur gettin clean J's u probably shudnt spend ova 130..estimate. but u always gotta have a set of clean bball shoes n a pair of those comfortable practice shoes n a pair of playground kicks...u know wat i mean?

The most I've spent was probably like 170 on some Jordan 14s and that included shipping and tax, they were $150 retail.

To answer your question though: HYPE 99% of the time

That other 1% is for the people who are actually trying to get them because of the technology in them and find it necessary.

why would you spend that much buyin gucci or prada.
Its all the same, people will pay if they want it enough.
Its just economics.

Haha I have a friend who bought a pair of those just to wear for Lacrosse practice. He has so much money it's ridiculous. He was tellin' me how he's thinkin about buyin another pair as his kickaround shoes for this summer.
