Here's the problem; Pierce is HIGHLY underrated, so any honest answer to the question of who we would accept back in return will be considered "too much" for another team to give up.

I wont name specific players, but I think that a combination of a younger player who's on the cusp of being an All Star, and either a very high draft pick or a project player with All Star potential and upside (like Gerald Green) would be needed.

Pierce would fit on the all time Celtics starting 5. If that's not good enough to define his value, you were born approximately today.

No way would I trade Paul Pierce, and definitely not for younger players. He's one of the only proven veterans in Boston. He's consistently one of the top scorers in the league, and you cannot trade him. You just can't. He means to much to the Celtics franchise. Even if Philly were to offer AI for PP I still wouldn't do it. Pierce is way too underrated, the only thing that seperates him from the other players like Kobe and T-Mac is the fact that his team has been failing in the past few seasons. But now I think he has the pieces around him to makes things happen. He's got Sebastian Telfair, Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Rajon Rondo, Tony Allen, Kendrick Perkins, Delonte West, and Leon Powe. Most of these guys are on the verge of breaking out too, especially Telfair. He is the guy who holds them all together, and if he leaves Boston, then there goes your core nucleus of players. Keep Pierce in Boston.

I couldn't agree more but T-Mac's teams have been failing...
