when i think of talent i like to think of a guy who you could put on any given team and theyd still be succesful even though he is the star of a not so great team. when i think of that natrul raw talent without the atmosphere i think of chris bosh, micheal redd, kg, and kobe but id say the top 2 are wade and lebron
Your a dumb**** I swear....studpid @ss mother ****** how can you say Shaq is talented when he cant even shoot a ******* freethrow? Learn to think before you speak *****....
Shaq is not more talented than Kobe. It takes more talent to bring the ball up court and fade away over your defender from 20 feet than it does to have the ball thrown to you 8 feet from the basket, bully someone 50 lbs lighter than you 4 feet in, and put the ball off the backboard into the hoop.
That takes SOME talent, but nowhere near Kobe's level.
I think it depends on whats the criteria. I think Kobe may be the best, but if we're looking for natural talent. I don't think he's number 1. I think he's really skilled, maybe the most. But I think he works really really really hard to be so talented.
I think Tmac/KG/Lebron/Kidd may top the league. These guys have like gifts from God IMO, as far as basketball gifts and physical talents and versatility. I mean Tmac's like 6'10 and used to be able to stick with small guys defensively, and damn sure can play like one.
But its much like I don't believe Mike was the most talented player ever, simply had that tunnel vision and determination to fine tune his game to the fullest. Sorta like Kobe. I think Magic was maybe the most talented ever.
I can't beleive some are calling Kobe the most talented... do you guys think when you say things like this?
Kobe is the hardest working player in the game. He is by FAR the most skilled player in the game. And yet almost anybody will tell you that prime Shaq > prime Kobe, even though Kobe works harder, and is much more skilled. Even if you take away Kobe's crappy attitude, Shaq would still be > Kobe.
Talent. Shaq's more talented. When you're less skilled, and don't work as hard and you're still the better player, the only way to explain that is, you're more talented.
You are completely clueless. What does "crappy attitude" have anything to do with TALENT?
Shaq is NOT more talented than Kobe, not even during his "prime" years.
Size + Strength does not equate to talent.
Oh and LeBron is not in the discussion. Dude has so many flaws and holes in his game that it's a joke to even mention him in the same breath as Kobe Bryant (or Kevin Garnett).
