Default Lu works out with Hakeem

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...n/4093612.html

Quote:
"Twelve months later, (Hakeem) Olajuwon is back from his home in Jordan for his annual sojourn to Houston to take care of business, touch base with old friends and conduct his first Big Man Camp. Okafor has returned, and this time he has been accompanied by Ndudi Ebi, who went from Westbury Christian Academy to the pros as a 2003 first-round draft choice of the Minnesota Timberwolves, and a handful of other young up-and-comers.

Also expected next week on the court of The Wellness Center at Memorial Hermann-HBU are DeSagana Diop and D.J. Mbenga of the Dallas Mavericks, Ike Diogu of the Golden State Warriors, Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls and free agent Mamadou N'diaye. The Nigerian national team will spend two days in camp en route to playing in the World Basketball Championship in Japan."

Great to see Lu hanging with these guys. We did hear word he wanted to work on a post game. Who better to teach him than 'The Dream'?

I'm not expecting an all out improvment from the guy just because he worked with the dream, but hey.. it all helps I guess. Good for him.

LOL, I concur! I'm not counting on Deng for a major aspect of our success this next season! The teams overall talent has gotten a lil' better and I don't see Deng getting or needing as many minutes! Nocioni is the heart and soul of the current Bulls!

Nocioni is not the heart of the Bulls. Big Ben will be the heart. Deng will get good minutes over Nocioni.

Thats because nothing new has happened yet and probably wont. Ben was the biggest move and will cost them a lot. Thats all they can do for now. They should think about some trades in the future.

They have all the role players they need. They need a player that takes over the game, a superstar like James, Wade, Anthony. Paxson will keep an eye on the books to make sure he can make an offer in 3 years. I could see Wade jumping on board.

i disagree. We don't need to trade anyone for a superstar..

we may as well stick with our talented young players for 2/3 more seasons. If they don't cut the mustard then we can look at bringing in a big name..

besides we may get our 'superstar' from next years draft.
