What is Halo Wars?

I know this is my secound thread made now, but can someone explain to me what Halo Wars is? Whats the difference, how is it, whats it about and when is it coming out?

Halo Wars is basically events that happened before Halo 1. There is no official release date as of yet. I expect it to be out around December.

Halo Wars is a Real Time Stratagy game similar to a game like Command & Conquer or Starcraft.

It is being developed by Bungie/Ensemble Studios for the Xbox 360.

i'll probably wait until it comes out on PC to get it... RTS games are a b!tch when you don't have a mouse to use.

Since the game is being developed for console first, it should offer better controls. Part of the success of the Halo FPS games(for me anyways) was that they were developed for the console and with console controls in mind.

It's being made by the guys who do Age of the Empires, which is my favorite game. It should be good.

you know, i was SO happy to hear that it's not another shooter and that it IS in fact an RTS

it makes me believe that bungie might actually be a company that won't just copy and paste their way to more millions

i agree with halo being a trilogy, but if they added a prequel, i would just lose all respect for them
