Default Value of Salmons

Assuming Artest gets trade, which I think he will....does Salmons gain his value again? I had him during his run and it was like heaven having him, and if he is coming back I would have to drop one of my stashed injured players for him.

Brand (expected back by mid march at latest)
Dent (expected back in a week or two)

or Raja Bell

What do you think

Unfortunately in my league, Salmons is picked up for some reason, but Garcia is still there. I'm praying Artest gets traded though and part of me thinks he will so I can add another good piece to my team. I had Garcia during that injury plagued time period and it was great. The only thing is Bibby and Martin wll take more shots than we saw from Udrih and the rest of the subs that were starting at the time. He may not gain back ALL of his value, but hes still worth a pick up for sure!

Well...do you usually win threes? If itssomething you tank, I would drop Bell. But if you rely on him heavily, its a tough call. I personally dont think Brand will be ready this year regardlessof the reports, but thats just my opinion. I guess it depends on needs and what cats you are good in.

I'm competative in 3's and wouldn't want to drop Bell, thats the thing

I guess thats a tough decision then and will take a big gamble no matter which side you go. I wouldnt make a move yet though cause a trade isnt necessarily guarenteed at this point. I'd keep my eyes open daily though for anything...even a rumor. I dont think anyone will jump on him at this point until something is done and you surely have a solid team if Bell is your worst player.

Mike Bibby
Elton Brand-inj
Ray Allen
Gerald Wallace-inj
Rashard Lewis
LaMarcus Aldridge
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
David West
Luol Deng-inj
Grant Hill
Caron Butler-inj
Kevin Garnett-inj
Raja Bell

Thats my team as it is now, i'm getting really hammered by injuries now, though some of it is my own doing. I picked up Brand and Deng while they were injured.

I tank assists, thats about it

Hmm...with Wallace, Allen, Bibby, and Lewis, it seems like you would be pretty good, and with the addition of Salmons or Garcia over Bell, you wouldnt lose that many threes. I'm still not convinced with Brand though, but its worth a shot i think. A very solid team though regardless of whatever you decide to do.

I mean I dropped Conley for Brand, and Conley was injuried and didn't fit my team in the first place, the first guy off waivers i would pick up now is Gibson as I need another pg and he fits my team with his 3's and low assists/TO. If Brand doesn't work out there will be someone on that level I can pick up at any time
