Default Pau Pau Pau!

He looked great tonight... It was fun to watch Kobe attempt to be Jason Kidd/Steve Nash... he was in pass first mode... I can't wait to see this team with the big boy back down low in 6 weeks...

Yep, he looked great! Meanwhile, Kwame had 4 points, 4 boards and 3 turnovers in his debut for Memphis

Pau was a fulltime PF during under Hubie. He was at his best under Hubie.

I didn't get to see the game.

Where and how did he get most of his buckets?

He got his points in the paint... some put backs, aggressive play, and i dont recall a single jump shot from beyond 10 feet. It was nice!

he had a jumpshot but it was waived off cz hte passer [kobe] called for offensive foul, the shot went in though but no pt, also he had a sort of pick and pop at the top of the key where he caught it and did a small fade shot.. nice ,
he also drove baseline and reversed
80+% FT shooter too...

Excellent. I was hoping for no 12-14 footers. He can make it for sure (definitely better than Lamar's jumper) but we don't exactly need it.

Don't get your hopes up, fellow Lakers fans. After all they are the Nets with a lousy center. Let's wait till he plays against Duncan, Nowitzi or Amare before we put him on a pedestal and kiss his feet like we are little fairies.

Pau! It didn't take him long at all to get in rythem with teammates. He showed it all, post up, driving around people, jumpers (so cal you forgot Pau took two early 12-15 footers real early in the game), good court vision. This Laker fan is a happy camper

Now hopefully Kobe isn't sidelined too long with that dislocated finger, the injuries really have to stop.

Can't wait to see Bynum and Pau in there together!

I agree with you, but I'm still very pleased with his performance.

Kobe=MVP07` is right, Gasol and Kobe did the pick 'n pop more than once, which worked nicely as well. Kobe seemed to have fun trying to be the facilitator tonight. He seemed so happy.

we'll see quite abit of this early as pau learns the system... as he gets more adapted they'll wean themselves away from this and into the more traditional system
