Default Article: Los Angeles Times - Bynum's knee holds the key

Quote:

"It's going to be fine," Bynum assures, looking down at it. "Everything is going to be fine and I'm going to be back soon. I just have to be patient."

"It's just . . . well, it's just puffy," Bynum says, mumbling the way kids do. "I'm able to walk normally, but I can't run because the muscles are not firing right. That's because of the swelling. It will be fine, though. . . . I can't wait to get back because life is just boring right now."

Loved the article and it seems that Bynum is growing up before our very eyes. His maturity seeps out of every statement, and the fact that he is commited to learned the smart way to play basketball.

Sounds like the knee is coming alone fine but, concern I have is by not being able to run on the knee how long would it take for him to get back in shape even a 20 year old gets out of shape. Hope Bynum is smart and not return less then 100% we don't need a set back.

Nice article SoCal.

He talks like its gonna be normal but the first few games he's going to try to put less pressure on it and it might interfere with his game a little bit.

He'll be okay though.

He'll need 10-15 games to get on track, which I think he'll have prior to the playoffs.
