Default Re: Do You Get Into Madden Online?

I quit playing that game online when people figured out the coverage glitch, where if you manually control a WR you can just knock down the CB covering you and then run past the player controlled safety and get a touchdown 33% of the time.

There were a couple other exploits too, one that I could never figure out was somehow they could fake out all of your linebackers and get a 20 yard run every play. One where the ball would fly through defensive players bodies but still be manually caught by the WR. If you did a hurryup offense right as a play ended it was a free touchdown because the defensive line made no attempt to get back across LOS, so if it wasn't a touchdown it was an "offsides" penalty.

Oh then if you finally managed to beat somebody they would use the syncing exploit to disconnect you so that they still got the win..

Game is fun against friends, but there were way too many exploits and cheats to play online against people willing to cheat.

They actually have an update to the game out for the PS3, and it lowers the turnover frequency and all of those glitches
