Default Proposed Trade Odom Artest

Lakers get Artest and Kenny Thomas, Kings get Odom and Walton.
I'd even throw in the Lakers #1 pick in 2009 (I think we still have that one),
We wouldn't need that pick because our roster would be SET!!!!!!
Our Defense AND Offense would be just SICK!!!!!

no. you cant just start bringing new players into the triangle mid season and expect it to work. We got lucky Gasol has such a high basketball IQ. No dominant teams in the west this year, we can easily make and probably win the WCF with the current team if everyone is healthy.

Yea because the last thing the Lakers need are two players that don't fit well in the triangle offense, and have no advantage over what Odom can do.

Laker's are set right now to win the championship right now, and when Bynum comes back, We will be in title contention for sure.

I say nay to both Artest and Kenny.

No. Kenny Thomas completely sucks. Ron Artest is not going to get the rebounds Odom gets and isnt half as good a passer or ball handler. Ron Artest plays very hard and is an excellent defensive player, but he does not improve this team in place of Odom. Odom is close to a triple double every night. Artest is pretty one dimensional whereas Odom has to be accounted for for a number of reasons. People greatly underestimate the chemistry Odom brings. Certain things would not flow without Odom. He is a great asset that continuously gets bashed because he doesnt put up 20 points a game. Guess what, neither has Artest, ever. Also, Odom can play every position on the court. His 13/10/3 are valuable, especially because it all comes within the flow of the triangle, which seems to be the main point people are missing.

Why do they need to deal? They are playing well and so is odom. Odom is possibly havinghis most consistent stretch this season since becomming the 3rd option. They have looked good this road trip and easiy should be undefeated. Artest will have issues not getting the ball enough and enough touches where odom would rather not have the ball as much. Odom is perfet for this team now. You know what they say, if it aint broke...

L.A. Lakers will not trade anymore pieces until they see what they have when Bynum and Ariza return.

If Odom does not work with Pau, Bryant and Bynum, then he'll be moved in the summer or certainly retire.

I can definitely agree that he's been playing the best I have seen since he arrived in los angeles. His scoring went up a bit and the way he's playing on the court, it's as if he now feels that we have a chance to win.

I still won't take back anything I said about him because this is the way he SHOULD be playing all the time and he should never go below this performace.

I second that!!!!!!!! Leave it be folks........the guy is a Laker, and will remain a Laker this year (and probably a couple years to come). Lamar has been stepping up his game lately, and actually playing really well. There is no chance that the Lakers are going to disrupt the chemistry that they are starting to play with.

#1- we cannot trade our #1 pick in 2009, we already traded our 2008
and 2010 picks and we have to draft in the first round every second year
at least....

#2- Artest is a poison

#3- Thomas doesn't play D, he's useless in the playoffs

#4- Luke has a super BBall IQ, when he gets healthy, you will
love him on our team

#5- LO7 got a triple double tonight...has Artest ever done that?

poorest trade suggestion in quite a while....
