Default Good Movies That Most Don't Know About

Anybody? This might help people in here find some good movies that never get noticed.

There are two that some might not know about.

Owning Mahowny
Love Liza

Both great Philip Hoffman Seymour movies. I'll mention more soon.

True Romance. I know it's not obscure or anything, but nobody I know has seen it.

Excellent Tony Scott film. I own it. One of my favorites.

I'd say True Romance was more of a Tarantino film than a Tony Scott one.

Get On the Bus. Most Spike Lee fans dont even know about this, but its one of his best films.

'Blood Simple'.

I know everyone likes 'Fargo' and 'No Country for Old Men'. But 'Blood Simple' is the Coen Brothers debut film and is very good.

It's pretty old, so maybe some of you have passed it up. Check it out if you haven't seen it though. You're not a true Coen Brothers fan if you haven't seen it.

Well, Quentin did write it but the directing style is definitely Tony Scott. The mixture of the two came up with a great flick.

I heard about that Spike Lee movie. Gotta rent it.

I've seen 'Dark City' and is a great flick. Alex Proyas is phenomenal. 'The Crow' was great too. Didn't care much for his 'iRobot' though.

Those others I'll have to rent.

'Star Man' was a good solid movie IMO. Jeff Bridges did a great job in it.

True Romance has been watched by every single person I know multiple times. It is an extremely popular movie. Reservoir Dogs was a MUCH better movie anyway, but True Romance was very good.

Sid and Nancy(drama), Roadside Prophets(comedy), Session 9(horror/suspense) were all very good movies that are not real popular today.

I've seen 'Sid and Nancy' and 'Session 9'. Good flicks.

Haven't seen 'Roadside Prophets' though.

Interstate 60

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165832/

Written and directed by Bob Gale (He wrote the Back To The Future). One of those movies that has so many good actors in it, James Marsden, Gary Oldman, Chris Cooper, Kurt Russell, Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox, Amy Adams. It's about a guy (James Marsden) who is takes a job travelling down a non-existent highway to deliver a package in a non-existent town.

Bubba Ho-Tep

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0281686/

Elvis Presley (Bruce Cambell) and JFK (Ossie Davis) are both in a nursing home, which is being terrorized by a Mummy, who is sucking the souls right out of the elderly residents bodies.

There's supposedely going to be a prequel in which Elvis takes on Dracula.
