No way in hell is Nash better than Kidd.

If Kidd was on the suns it wud have been the same thing, but if Nash was on the nets, they wud not have been as productive. No way Nash cud run that team with Carter n Jefferson like Kidd, only thing Nash has over Kidd is shooting and thats IT. Kidd has better court vision, passing, smarter plays, rebounding and defense. N no way cud Nash run a half court offense better than Kidd, the suns almost lost to the lakers because the lakers forced the suns to play halfcourt. I mean look at those HORRIBLE plays Nash made during the clippers series, cud have cost them the game if it wasnt for players such as Bell n Thomas hittin all those lucky shots. Basically if Jason Kidd had long hair n played no defense like nash, i guess he wud have won the MVP. end of discussion.

KIDD > NASH

Pick & Roll has a lot to do with it. Gameplan against Kidd would be lay off the screen and force him to shoot, we'll live with the 40% clip. Nash? It's a lot tougher, you put the defense in a postion of recovering/rotating if you have a PG who can shoot lights out, make passes/smart decisions.

I've watched the Suns a lot during Nash' time there & they run pick&roll 85% of the time down the floor in a half-court set and they end up getting an uncontested shot most of the time.

Kidd has the ability to create for his team, but not to the same effect Nash does.

At the end of the day creating for others is what you want from the PG spot. Nash is better from an overall standpoint in the halfcourt than Kidd because he puts the defense in a much tougher position with overall package of pick/roll, shooting, creating & passing.

So the MVP hardware (2 of them) means little? Ok gotcha. Curious what has Kidd been doing the last 2yrs in the NBA. Nash been posting double doubles.

Kidd is better than Nash. Check out the career averages and Kidd has been to the finals and also Kidd knows something called defense.

Kidd has made no horrible plays last season huh?

Stop hating on Steve Nash. That is all this is.

Hey jackass, one thing to say a player has had the better career, another to say currently the other player is better. Shaq has had the better career but Dirk is a better player right now. Understand lil guy?

Default Wha?

When has NASH run a half court offense...Yes he's a better shooter and he can run the **** outta the pick and roll but that in itself does not half court offense make.

Anyways, anybody who thinks Jason Kidd is as good as Nash offensively is on fooking crack.

Career eFG%
Jason Kidd: .451
Steve Nash: .540

That's bigger than the difference between MJ and Stackhouse.

KIDD IS BETTER THEN NASH. If Kidd had Amare/Marion/Bell/Joe Johnson/Q Rich .. he would do the same thing as Nash knuckleheads .Kidd hasn't had a team with offesively stacked guys since Kittles/Martin... and when he did he turned both off them into great role players and got to the Finals. Smarten up

If my aunt had balls she be my uncle.

2 MVP's. 1 without Amare Stoudamire a player many felt was just as deserving for MVP consideration and used in arguments to why Nash shouldnt have won the first MVP. Nash is on the bench the offense has stalled. That was exposed bigtime in the playoffs.

Now? Nash
Career? Kidd

Shooting means he's a better halfcourt scorer numbnuts has little to do with running an offense or execution of cuts or the delivery of passes.....interms of distributing the ball etc.....what the **** is a eFG%....it can't be field goal becuz neither of them have field goal percentages that high over a career but being a better half court scorer from the point (area on the floor not the PG position) is an advantage but so is being to post up any opposing PG. KIDD is equal full court scorer and is more dangerous in seams getting to the rim....NASh's teams struggle in teh halfcourt s much as KIDDs do and are predicated on quick shots with lots of time on teh shot clock....

Steven Nash has never run offense on a Utah Jazz like Half court team or any majority half court offensive team and the fact that you put from 2000-2004 shows you are an idiot....

Mvps? Kidd should have 2 but he dosen't. Shaq should have 5-6 know but he dosen't. MVPS dosen't mean "I'm better then you" in comparing great players.
