Sixers would be absolutely IDIOTIC to give that cat a dime. They already have too many bad contracts, and Andre3000 has proven absolutely nothing. If he gets an extension I would mourn the loss of sanity in the NBA. If he demands one I trade him. This guy has got to be the most overrated player in the NBA today.

sixers are going to have a hard time paying their players. King doesn't want to go over the cap but iggy is a must pay and same for louis williams
Are you retarded? NO ONE is a "must-pay" for a team that didn't even make the freaking playoffs and is saddled with several terrible contracts. That is the mentality that dumb GMs have when they screw up their teams with bloated contracts. Sixers have alot of work to do. They suck raw diiick. Why would they be concerned with retaining players from a roster that sucked more than Clay Aiken? Why?
Eaactly. And I don't think they will. Not even Billy King is that dumb, tho I sometimes wonder. Hes locked up for two more years in his rookie deal and considering the flux the team is in they would be foolish to address it any sooner than that.

Although if the 6ers are content with paying Dalembert like a prince
They aren't content. They screwed it up with him, and they know it. Now they're paying for it.
How is it hard to see him "walk" when 1)He is under contract for the next TWO years and than he's still restricted and 2)He has been a member of the team two years: One year they got spanked in the first round, the other year they didn't even make the playoffs despite having a huge payroll. This is not the Iggy show, its the Philadelphia 76ers, a once-proud basketball institution, who need to look to improve a franchise in shambles. They owe Iggy nada. zip.
Arenas money? What has Iggy proved? Although if the 6ers are content with paying Dalembert like a prince, maybe Iggy will get his too.
The Sixers offered Dalembert 5 years, $40 million, which is really too much.
But Billy Knight was hunting for a big man for the Hawks. Dalembert used the Hawks to get a better offer. I think he ended up getting 5 years, $58 million (not sure), but that really happened because of the inflation king Billy Knight.
The Hawks did offer Al Harrington in a sign and trade last year, which would have been great offensively for the Sixers, but defensively Harrington and Webber would have be a bad duo.
If the Sixers trade AI, Iggy mind as well become the Franchise player.
But like someone said, Iggy hasn't proved anything yet and this is his contract year. He's going to have to prove something to the sixers if he wants big money.
