The question is YES!
But who are they going to give away? Baron and Richardson together?

Sixers wouldnt need Richardson anyway since they already have Iguodala. Baron Davis would be part of any deal i would think since Mullin would just be crazy to try and pair AI with Davis in the backcourt. Warriors have great individual talent but getting it together has been difficult for them.

I don't think Philly would give up Iverson for anyone less than B-Diddy, Diogu, a draft pick or 2, and the Golden Gate Bridge. I know they're trying to trade AI away, but they're still gonna ask for everything and the kitchen sink in return. Besides, I think Ellis will turn out just fine for you guys within a couple years. Get Iverson now and lose half your young nucleus, you'll make the playoffs instantly and fizzle in the first round. Wait a couple years and let the young ones grow and you'll be playoff staples with the sky as the limit.

Theyd have to give up valuable pieces, but it would have all made up for it when they would have made the playoffs. The Warriors need J-Rich or B.D to step up and be the leader of the team. Thats how teams make playoffs.

The Warriors don't really need Iverson, they have great backcourt on Jason Richardson and Baron Davis. Davis was hurt in the end of last season so I expect him to be better this season. What the Warriors need is a PF (or a SF) how could be physical and productive. Dunleavy jr. should be traded. I like Murphy and would put him to play SF, (could he play outside?) if they would have a new PF.
