As long as VC and Jason are on the team they are running things. RJ should concentrate in improving speed and defense. As well as making that 3 point shot consistent.

he has been jipped IMo, as far as making the all star team for the past few years, his second and third years were outstanding. He is gonna be around for a long time and he's already a good player, and he's only gonna get better. I really think that he's at the level of shawn marion, there are just way more top flight scoring options, especially Carter. He'll average 20-7-5 next year...

in the beginning of the 04-05 campaign when RJ was the #1 option, he proved that he could play at a superstar level (turnovers were high, about 4 a game, but that can be fixed with practice)

as of right now, he is simply facilitating the offense and feeding off of Carter's double/triple teams.

when Carter sits, RJ usually delivers though.

I remember that the trade for VC happened when RJ was injured. And when he got back it took him a while to adjust to playing with him. What i was really surprised with was that the Nets didnt fall apart with having 3(or more) solid players like the Knicks did.

RJ got hurt in the first game he played with VC, when Billups rammed him while in mid air and he fell on his wrist, but he fits well into any situation. He can play any option you need him to 1-5. he's the best

RJ is the straight up definition of a model NBA player. he knows the fundamentals, he has the quickness, the ability to shoot with good form, and finish around the basket.

what he lacks and what Carter has is the ability to consistently conquer double/triple teams and finish circus shots (basically score ANYWHERE on the court) which

1) sells tickets
2) puts a severe strain mentally and physically on the opposing defense.
