Thats with every good coach, look at Larry Brown for example. He was getting nowhere with Philly/AI but after moving to Detroit, he won the championship.

phil like pat riley can only coach very good teams to become gr8! look at all the other really good teams in histroy that never won... coach without talent will not win talent with out a coach who can manipulate the talent into rings is useless..

unfounded and laughable. bynum coming back means everyones field goal percentage shoots way up. its not about individual touches but spacing on the floor. bynum in the low post and gasol in the high post with kobe and lamar as slashers...doesnt sound like theyd be getting worse to me.

yeah ur right. Lakers would be scoring easier and playing better defense with bynum playing along side Gasol. bynum can recieve alleyhoops while gasol has the better post up game.

Have you ever watched the Lakers run the Triangle? Pau is doing it from the high post, while Bynum does it from the low post. They compliment each other really well (on paper). Bynum is going to get a lot of easy looks once he gets back, and Pau's looks are going to be better, with the attention Bynum commands. Win-win.

my goodness, and with all the attention Bynum and Gasol will be getting, you have Odom/Kobe having all the room in the world, ready to attack at anytime and playing loose with Fisher, and a deep man rotation off the bench. I miss the defensive rebounding even more. He was cleaning the glass completely by himself, imagine how good it'll be once he teams up with Pau. He's probably a top 5 five defensive rebounder right now in the league. Top 10 at the very least.
