Default Lineups and who will score

As i see it the starters will be.
d will, bench fisher dee
Brewer, Cj Gira
ak, Harpring
booz, collins millsape
okur, hoffa
and out of the starters I think that none can score to well
d will- 14 pt
Brewer- 9-11 pt
ak- 15-18
booz- 18-22
okur- 15-18- won't avg. as much with booz back
the Jazz only have really one man who can score consistantaly thats booz
okur will hit shots here and there ak will slash to get his pt same as brewer and d will will hit 3's and fast break layups while booz will get the ball in the post
I think that the Jazz need to get another good go to guy.

what do you think?

I think Giricek will still get the first shot at the starting SG spot. I also believe that Okur will continue to get his points with Boozer on the floor because they compliment each other.

You have to think that the bench the Jazz have now will be one of the best in the league and Harpring can be the go to guy in the second unit. This has to be the breakout year for the Jazz we've been anticipating for 2yrs.

Atleast one player will make the all-star game!!!!!

Giricek will start for sure. Brewer and CJ might be talented, but they're no NBA starters right now. Not that Giricek is, but he's way closer ;)

We can consider ourselves lucky if coach Sloan doesn't start Fisher instead of Williams... y'all know how Sloan can be.

I think we'll see a little different Sloan than we are used to this year.

Yeah, when it comes to Gira the 2 spot is his to lose.

All signs (recent articles) do point to Jerry relaxing a bit when it comes to the rookies... But you just never know. I really hope Brewer gets 15-20 min/per.

If Fisher started over D-Will at point guard, all of Jazz-dom would be enraged. It doesn't help to start an aging veteran over our up-and-coming point guard of the future and take away his playing time and experience. Deron needs all the time he can get on the court - i think he's proved he's at least capable of hanging with most starters. (He'll still have a rough time with guys like Stephon Marbury, AI, and Gilbert Arenas, but so does everyone else in the league.) I only see Fisher playing at the 2 spot alongside Deron or spotting Deron at the point when he's on the bench.

I can see that too, as long as they switch on defense.

Based on what criteria? Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Sloan fan. My prediction is that we will see the same rookie-hating, running our best prospects out of town... watch out CJ Miles; you're next!

I think that we could have a really strong second unit. I feel that the Jazz would be crazy not to bring in Van Horn. We could see some major contributions from Derek Fisher (born to wear purple), Matt Harpring (reminds me of Daryl Johnston from the Cowboys), Ronnie Brewer (who will be a career backup unless he can hit that three; he just isn't athletic enough to make up for it a la Dwayne Wade) and Paul Millsap (a legit NBA rebounder)

He's made comments to the local media that are DIFFERENT than the 'old-traditional' Jerry Sloan. (admitting he could have utilized D. Williams a little differently than he did last year) I'll believe it when I see it, but he sounds different than he has in the past.

Yeah I agree. Even LHM sounded it out on radio that he expects Sloan to be a little different when it comes to handling the rookies.

I'm wondering where CJ fits right now. Will we see him at the SF more than the SG spot?

Is there a chance we will see Brown, Brewer, Miles, Millsap and Araujo on the floor at the same time at some point?

If they were I think I'd be watching Sloan more than the actual play on the court just to see his reactions.

Ummmm......No

I'd be a little surprised if we see more than two of those guys out on the floor at the same time (at least early in the season).

Ak was playin' the two because of injuries and Matt Harpring's way too slow to cover a two gaurd... We'll probably see more of that this season.

I bet giricek will be riding the pine very early this year when he was young he looked like a prospect but his shot hasnt got any better and he doesnt move much on offense and is a liability on defense, plus he is always in Sloans dog house i give him 15-25 games to get injured or piss Sloan off....lets hope Brewer has a better atittude in the locker room than he did on draft night, I watched all of revue and he did great.....................Humphries had a good RMR last year as well ...but I am very excited to see this kid (bREWER)get chance to play with starters,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
