Your team is garbage. No one fears them because, at best, they're first round meat for the big dawgs like Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix.

I'm not worried about the Clippers at all, they haven't really gotten any better, we're adding Amare, Marcus Banks, AND Kurt Thomas back to the line-up which shores up our biggest weaknesses. Sam Cassell is declining faster than Nash, and we've already taken them out once in the post season.

I think we match-up great with the Mavs, they'll put up a good fight but had some serious trouble with us this year without Amare/Thomas/Banks & a crippled Raja Bell. Regardless it'd be awesome to see a rubber match this post season.

San Antonio is the biggest challenge. They've pulled the win one, lose, win another, for a while now, I figure they'll come back this year with a vengeance. Duncan's plantar fascitis should be gone; Ginobili is looking to be in top form in the WC. They haven't really gotten any better this off season, but seeing how easily they've handled us in the past they're still a big concern. Than again next year's team, if healthy, should be the best team we've put together since Barkley's in 93.

Like Rab said, no one from the East is really worrying. Neither Zo nor Shaq have been able to run with the Suns. The Heat don't amount to much without them. Bulls are unproven, Pistons downgraded, Cavs match-up well but are a considerable drop off in talent.

Dark horse is the Rockets, if they play well together and are healthy Yao-T-mac are the best inside-outside combo in the NBA, Battier is a defensive glue guy, Alston is a fast-breaking assist machine, and Van Gundy will ensure them one of the best defenses in the NBA. They're thin though, Yao, Mutumbo, & Howard have stamina problems so the Suns should be able to run them into the ground.

Why are you even chiming in here? Crazy Laker fan thinking his team accomplished so much by blowing a 3-1 lead.

Last time i checked. Lakers=14 Championships Dallas/Phoenix=0.
And this coming from a Mav Fan whose team got outscored by a single player

i'm kinda afraid of the Spurs... that's why the standings are very important... lets hope someone beat the Spurs for us... (eg Mavs)

Typical Laker fan that has no substence to any argument. Bring up past accomplishments that they weren't even alive to see.

What have you accomplished in the present? No one is going to look back 10 years from now and say the Mavs made the Finals in 2006, it's all about the rings. Yeah sure, blame the refs.

you always argue with everybody about the lakers...if you're not going to contribute much but just flame at everyone for not supporting the same team as you then don't come here and go to the lakers forum where everyone agrees with you...K?

lets say the lakers never win a ring again and become the clippers of old and the hawks of now, no matter how any other team does in the future dont you LA fans think it'd be pretty gay to keep saying, "well we won 14 a long time ago" ???

Lakers will never become the Clippers, be realistic. Not as long as they have the best player in the league. And they won 3 in a row a few years ago, not that long ago.
