Default Dealing Thomas Or What?!?!?!?!?

well a while ago i posted about going and getting drew gooden.....nothing really happened after that rumour, now im readin the rumours page and apparently we tried for chris wilcox, which i think would be even better than gooden, yet that deal has fallen through as well.....both of these trades involved getting rid of KT..will he be a sun by the time training camp rolls around? does everyone want him to be here? if it meant getting either one of these two players, ship him off quick...no offense to KT i like him but he doesnt fit....

That is a good question. I have a feeling KT will still be a Sun by the time training camp rolls around. But I am definately up for trading him if there is a good deal.

KT's deal expires in 1 season. This will bring some financial relief to the Sun's who are gonna be around the luxury tax after re-signing Diaw. He is a good veteran frontcourt player and provides depth.

I think that he will be a Sun when training camp starts. I hope that we can get a deal for Wilcox or Gooden though. They will be a perfect fit with our run and gun style. I can't see either of them coming here though.

good that you point that out... then we can end this over-paid contract and either get a cheap and young replacement or sign him at low cost...

I have nothing against KT and I believe that if Kurt would have been healthy in last season's playoffs the suns would've advanced ever further, but he wasn't. What comes to trading him, if I should choose between Wilcox and Gooden, I would say get Wilcox. He's more the type of player that would fit in the front court better, because the suns need someone to bang on the boards and he can also score (amare is still a question). Much like Gooden, but I think after last season, Wilcox would play even better.

(Funny thing: Did you know that Gooden is the best player ever to play in the NBA who has Finnish roots, he's mom is from Finland)

I predict that Kurt stays right here, at least at the beginning of the year.

I hope the Suns look into aquiring Reggie Evans....

I would love to see them offer up a pick or two to see if the clippers would give them Quinten Ross who would fit in perfectly with the Suns, a great defender and at a good price...He wont see to much time with the clippers loaded backourt....
