Parody ftw. I felt that someone was gonna put this kind of thread up, so I am trying to nip it in the bud, so to speak. As evidenced by the hate threads started in this very forum, Luke and Lamar have been unfairly vilified this season--by their own fans, no less. And now Fisher's been struggling of late, including the stinkbomb he unloaded in tonight's game. I don't know why he's been playing so bad of late (though I suppose it's just the law of averages playing catch-up), but I'd suspect he won't be shooting 27% every game from here on out. So before we all gang up on the guy who came here to take care of his cancer-stricken daughter, let's all just calm down. Breathe in, breathe out.
I love fisher but this is exactly why we need a third point guard.
We're gonna have nights when both PG's don't give good production.
Tyronn Lue is the best third option Point guard for us. He can score inside and out and isn't one dimensional like fisher. Fisher is probably one of the worst finishers I have ever seen. Misses most layups and gets blockd a LOT!
I hope he will snap out of this slump by the time playoffs come around
Honestly, the Lakers fell in love with the 3 point land. Thats why we lost. I dont blame D Fish, Im sure hes just in a funk.
Im happy to see Walton is finally coming out of his, hes starting to be productive again as well.
listen, we shot 15% from 3s!!!!! all we needed was 1 of those myriad of 3s around the 2 minute mark and we would of been ok... portland shot amazing from 3 and we shot horribly shows that if either we shoot a little beter like 20% or they shoot a little worse like 44% =) we will be good also bynum may be back for the next game against them....

perimeter D cost us the game. Fish, Farmar, and Kobe got smoked.
also, I think Portland was just feeling it.
Lastly, the few times Outlaw was matched-up on Kobe, Outlaw played some of the best D I have seen against Kobe.
I really hope Portland does not make the playoffs. They are a bad matchup for our boys.
Actually, the team played with much less energy than Portland. That is why they lost. They looked a little tired. D Fish does look a bit tired as well, and perhaps thats the age factor. He will get it back as he knows how to kick it up a notch in the stretch.
Strategically, one *could* make an argument to have a third PG for depth. Someone who contributes to the team more than Coby Karl who takes up a roster spot. So, the idea is not such a bad one.
