Sad situation really. Evans would obviously answer our needs in the frontcourt but we're just outside the luxury tax which Comcast has been really trying to avoid. I wont expect any free agent signings unless its a vet or undrafted rookie willing to play for the minimum. How bout this trade though? Korver for Evans. Korver gives the Nuggets the shooter they have been looking for. Evans gives us the rebounding presence and toughness we lack. If they get to sign Steven Smith, im all for this trade.

i would hate to give up kyle tho. It would make sense tho. He said that comcast isnt preventing him but i doubt that's true...

i think he should have used it, there are still some good free agents out there and this team would use their depth to the bench

That'd be a good trade, if only you could notify the Sixers management about this.

Hey who knows, maybe they can work it out since Patterson seems to be out and theyre getting Joe Smith. Makes Evans expandable for a possible sign and trade and Korver would be a perfect fit for the Nuggets to fill their need.

we should just sign evans. Screw the trade. We shouldnt have to give kyle up, jus fu*king sign him. Thats who we need, and king is too much of a dumba$$ to realize that!

They want Steven Smith out of Lasalle and after that they can't afford anyone that wants more than the minimum without going over the luxury tax.

And I like Reggie Evans, but he's not that good and I wouldn't give up Korver for him. And I like Jumaine Jones, but unless they move someone there's really too many wings on the roster to use the money to sign him instead of a big.

what about bonzi wells??? he is a great defender...and he would be the perfect 5th piece.i know he won't accept 5mil/year for a long deal but maybe he would accept it for one year and become UFA next summer(cause this summer no one will offer him 8 or 9 mil/year)
