Question WNBA introducing a Toronto franchise next year?

i was reading some threads at RealG.M and apparently Toronto is the next city being considered for a WNBA franchise.

i can't see myself ever going to watch a game... but who knows...

what do you guys think?

Haven't heard of a WNBA team but I have heard of the possibility of bringing a NBDL team to Hamilton.

But on the WNBA it would just like the rest of the league, nobody watching.

I tried to watch a WNBA game once. I honestly tried. I couldn't. They can't even SHOOT for God's sake. You'd think they would be able to shoot.

That being said, they would kick my ass at basketball... but I still can not bring myself to watch them.

A D-League team in Hamilton would be AWESOME, especially if the tickets were good and cheap (you'd hope they would be). I would go to a game every once in a while.

I'd never follow, watch nor support a WNBA franchise in Toronto, it's just not exciting to watch, in fact, it's absolutely painful to watch. I would check out an NBDL game on the other hand, some nice young athletic players who aren`t quite good enough playing there, especially if the tickets are inexpensive.

I must say that I will try to watch it if Toronto is getting a team but I have watch wnba finals a couple times and it is not very exciting unless it was down to the last shot for the game which was the 1 teaspoon launch in the half court and made it, that got me watching the following game but i switched off after a quarter.
