Default Questions surrounding Bynums return

Ok I know there has been allot of talk about when Bynum comes back there might be some chemistry issues since he hasnít played with Gasol. I for one donít see there being an issue I feel like they both have good hands and pass great for 7í and that they should be able to blend in smooth with each other. I donít see were there styles will clash. Bynum is a traditional back to the basket big as for Pau he seems like more of a face up guy which I think heíll have a much more natural looking game once playing at the PF. Now I know Pau hasn't played PF in any real games for us and who knows how much they have him practicing the PF roll in practice (I hope a bunch)

So I would like to hear from the Lakers fam on this topic. Do you see there being a chemistry issue when Bynum comes back? If so which aspect of there games do you see clashing? And finally if Bynumís return dose appear to hurt team chemistry do you think Phil will start him from the get go or ease him back in slowly off the bench?

He will be gradully worked in to the rotation. Most of that "working in" will occur during practice. Hopefully, he will be the starting center prior to the playoffs.

I DO think there will take some time for Bynum/Gasol to mesh. Gasol can play high-post, Bynum down low. Gasol will have to make the greater adjustment. It will also impact Odom's role...he will play the 3...a position which, imo, he is not suited for (but he seems adaptable, so time will tell).

Use the force, Schyza... :)

No biggie at all.... lets keep this one going since the other one died out... I don't know how to prune two threads together yet either... haha Maybe Lakerfreak or Sizzle can do that for us.

And yes, we are on the same page!!!!

Phil has said that he will start Bynum off the bench. I think a lot will have to do with what kind of shape he is in. Since it's a knee it's hard to get cardio work done. He'll need to get back into basketball shape before he can get into the starting lineup again. I'll be happy if he can play half a game at this point.

I don't see too much of a problem with Bynum and Gasol out there. Bynum doesn't really create his own shot at this point so he doesn't need a lot of touches. He's going to be needed for rebounding and defending the rim. When they are out there together one of them is going to have a favorable matchup.
