Default I wil be happy if Jeffries just averages 7 points

People keep on talking about how Jeffries does not score that much but the truth is, we don't need him to score. We are stacked with scorers on this team. Almost everyone on this team can drop a good 20 points if they got playing time and touches. Balkman and Jeffries are different. All we need for them to do is play solid defense and make hustle plays. If Jeffries gets 1 block a game, 7 rebounds, and a steal I wil be content.

That will be alot for Jeffries. Because you know Marbury will get around 20. Francis will be like 18 points. Frye will probably drop 15 and Curry 18. And Jamal might have a 16 point year and that does not included the rest of the bench. If Jeffries. averages 10 that means this team might average a over 100 a game.

I dont see Jeffries playing more than 25 mins a night.
with all the ball hogs on the team. 7pts seems to be pretty reasonable.

hes the 5th option when hes on the floor. i dont see him gettin any touches unless marbury learns how to distribute the rock.

Marbury isnt a great passer by any means. He may average 8 assists a game, but how many of those assists mean anything? I noticed a trend with him where he gets his teammates involved early in the game. Late in the game, its all about him. He dominates the ball late in games and never looks to pass the rock. All im saying is that he needs to learn how to play within the team. The growth of the knicks youngsters solely depend on Marbury being Marbury, and not Starbury.

I don't think I can name one person that probably LOVED playing with marbury. The list is long. KG... Kurt Thomas.. Tim Thomas.. KVH...

how u not a good passer if u average 8 assist that doesnt make any sense. to average 8 assist is a big deal. the situation is that hes the best player on the team so because they are losing people is goin to put all the blame on him and its not fare.

That's why I think certain guys will not play.

Balkman, Collins, Malik, and Mo or Jose won't play at all.

I'm thinking

Marbury/Nate
Francis/Jamal
Q/Jeffries
Frye/Lee
Curry/James

If James comes in fat expect Mo Taylor to be Curry's backup

We should be happy if JJ gets more points than fouls. Afterall he is only getting $30 Million. Not bad for 7 points and 6 fouls -- and if we are very lucky he will grab a rebound or two before fouling out.

Want to dramatically raise JJ's rebounding?

Smother the ball in hamburger gravy and JJ will "eat up" rebounds! LOL

Rumor has it that JJ would be the best rebounder at Weight Watchers. JJ might even go to Weight Watchers if they served McD's hamburgers and kentucky Fried Chicken!
