Default Walsh Drawing Interest from teams

not good news

The Knicks aren't the only team interested in stealing executive Donnie Walsh away from the Pacers, according to the New York Daily News.

Walsh has had discussions with the Bucks, who would like to replace general manager Larry Harris. It's also rumored that the Hawks may have reached out to Walsh as well.

If by soon you mean 2011.

Donnie's 67 now, he probably doesn't have interest in the complete rebuild that's about to happen. I know, the Knicks are in a lot worse shape, but they obviously have no concerns about paying the luxury tax, which we'll never do. Plus the Knicks do have some talent, Zeke's just HORRIBLE. He could turn them around a lot quicker than he could us.

It's been a long run for Donnie, and I'll never have a bad thing to say about the guy. He's one of the biggest reason the Pacers are still in Indiana. Ever since the brawl I've given him and Larry long leashes, their hands were forced so many times. If he leaves, good luck.

Meh, if anything he retires. I'd put money on him being here next year though, with Larry "re-assigned."
