in a great pg draft- chalmers does have a place -imo

oj mayo
s- curry

in my mind chalmers belongs somewhere after them- in a group of

dj augustine

imo-chalmers is ahead of lawson and augustine and very similar right now to collison

chalmers looked like such a great prospect as a true freshman- im not sure he improved dramatically however-he has a a good pg frame for the nba- and at worst grades out imo as chris duhon-ish

i say- great second round pick for someone who needs a gaurd-

point gaurd- 2008

3- oj
5- curry
6- gordon
7- collison
9- lawson
10- augustine

If he leaves this year he is a 2nd rounder I think. He is really good on defense, can shoot, and is decent at playmaking. He would make a really nice backup. I think he could be a Duhon type.

I think Chalmers is very tricky one to evaluate. I'd like to see him in a system where he played more pg, and handle the ball. I really think he's capable of that, and he isn't that bad a passer. At the moment he's probably early second rounder, but he could be a steal. Defensively and as a shooter, he's among the best guards of this class.

I really hope he stays at Kansas, and with all the other players leaving early - I think he might stay. Just thinking of Collins and Chalmers both having bigger roles is going to be a fun season to watch. On top of that the Morris twins - the oops will be flying again.

He'd be good on the Lakers, we don't need PGs to be playmakers or even primary ball handlers, we just need dude who can hit the open three.
