Default Darko excells in Argentina blowout

Yeah, that's right.

Serbia just destroyed Argentina by 19 (83-64) on the Singapore tournament.

I couldn't be more suprised, although this is our 8th win in 9 preparation games. But we are still underdogs and I don't think we can beat the Argentinians in Japan.

However, my home country's team is showing qualities no one was anticipating - great poise, self-confidence, better than expected shooting and defense, unity...

None of this would be possible without a dominant center we have now in Darko Milicic. He scored 17 pts, dunno about the other stats, they are still not available.

I guess Orlando has done a good job after all.

I would love Serbia to play the US, in the semis for example, and watch Darko against Howard, Brand and Miller.

I know Mile Ilic went scoreless, but how did he do?

hasn't shown anything yet in the preparations.

He is not that bad, he just need time. He is fairly mobile with good hands, the Nets didn't draft him for nothing...

Good for Darko. Although, he didn't turn a solid performance at the euro's or whatever tournament that was last summer when he came into Pistons camp so we'll see.

Darko's trade to Orlando boosted his morale like nothing else. Great for him.

I understand. I just want him to be able to contribute immediately.

I'm happy I'll get to see all Saturday & Sunday games of the tournament now. Pretty excited about the Gasol/Darko matchup.. and Rasho/Darko, haha.

Probably because nobody here is passionate enough about Argentina and they've had a less disappointing international record recently, having been the Olympic champions and all.

Because US lost to a team that lost to a team led by Darko
