Default Could Steph Curry go lottery

stephan curry of davidson is the real deal- do you see him going in the top 14? imo he has proved to be worthy of a lottery pick

i have been trying to think he would be a late first round pick becaus of his size- but he keeps proving his worth- georgetown and even gonzaga were both more than capable and both play defense and have pro-type athletes

i could see making an argument for placing him above or below bayless of arizona but definitly believe he is one of the best pg's in the draft-

rose
westbrook
oj mayo
curry-bayless
gordon

i still believe for sure westbrook& oj should be put at pg and think gordon could potentially be a great lead gaurd, but both and more likely gordon will be played at the sg

do you see curry as a top 10? lottery? first?

No.

Curry is like 6-1, 175. On the mid-major level he gets some steals, but isn't good on defense. He is quick, but he isn't strong and won't be able to get to the basket in the NBA. He is a shooter. He is a Dell Curry, Steve Kerr, Tim Legler type of player. He isn't going to be able to hit 3's like that every night in the NBA and will just play spot minutes and be instant offense off the bench. A rotation player, but not a 6th man that plays starter minutes or anything.

Take Westbrook out of the list!! This guy sucks so bad and couldn't make shots and FTs. Moreover, he did dare to take shots when he knew that he would likely to miss them and sure he hit iron. Can't believe why people rate him a top 5 PG, that's ridiculous.

Besides, Eric Gordon is a Shooting Guard, not a PG...

not this year, but if he stays all 4 years and hits the weights i dont see why he cant be in the top 14....if sorry azz JJ redick can why cant he..an hes not just a stand still set shooter..he can get his shot off the dribble as well..he reminds me of Monta Ellis in the mold of a lil guy that can flat out score..just look at his best games occured when he played Duke ,UNC and Gonzaga and Georgetown as well as a good showing against UCLA so u can throw that Mid major crap out the window

Stop making judgments after one game. Everyone ****s up sometimes, including J-Kidd with 3.33333333 ppg in his past 3 games.

No way.

He's like AJ Guyton or Trajan Langdon, a one-dimensional shooter who's severly undersized to play the 2 in the NBA, he lacks size and athleticism, and useless on defense.

A mid to late 2nd rounder.

Curry won't be able to get those shots off against NBA defenders. I think he would do well with the Lakers. Kobe drives, gets doubled, kicks out to Curry for 3. That is the type of player Curry will be. Or a team doubles down on Gasol or Bynum and they kick it out and swing it around to Curry for a 3. Or teams stay on Curry because he is so dangerous that Kobe and the others get easier looks. Either way Curry is a game changer when he is in the game.

And I was talking about his defense when I mentioned mid-majors. He is not a good defender, he just picks up some steals by playing lanes against mid-majors. At a major I think he gets abused more often.

And don't get me wrong, either. I really like Curry. Most people with his size and limitations aren't even on the NBA radar. He is such an amazing shooter, however, I think he will have teams looking at him late in the 1st round. Not saying he is a lock to go 1st round, but as I said, a team like the Lakers might grab him as a specialist. More likely a team takes a shot on him in the 2nd round.

Well, Kidd's much different from PGs like Tony Parker. Kidd could grab rebounds and assists when he can't shoot, which indicates that he could still make a difference to the team. However, what could this Westbrook guy do when he shoots poorly?

Don't take Kidd as an example here, it just makes no sense and makes yourself look like an idiot...

Idiot?

Kevin Durant sucks because he didn't win more games than Texas is winning now.

Thanks for the personal attack, make sure to read your posts too, however.

And who would you use as a better example? (trying to get back to topic here). Just make sure you watch Westbrook play more than one game before making an opinion on him.

Not to be offensive, but do you think it's smart to say "Hey, dude, Tim Duncan used to shoot 1-7 and 2-13 in a season as well" after you saw how bad Jason Collins sucks?

Don't compare this guy with Jason Kidd, they're not even a little bit closer for now.

(At the very bottom where it says Notes) According to LeBron James -

Quote:
Of all the players in the NCAA tournament, James singled out Davidson sophomore Stephen Curry as the one he's most eager to see play at the next level. "He's a very, very, very, very, very good basketball player," James said. "I don't know if he's coming out (in the draft) this year. When he does, he has a spot."
