March and April are going to be tough again. 6-game roadtrip in March, then big games against the Suns and Spurs in April.

Besides Detroit and Cleveland, the other teams on that 6 game road trip don't exactly strike fear.

I hope we can pound Golden State that 3rd game of the year, cuz they have some kind of spell on us or something; those 2 bad losses to them costed us a chance to get the #1 seed. Hopefully we can put them to rest early.

Yeah Golden State owned the Mavericks last year at the AAC but other than that, the Mavericks have owned the Warriors for the past couple of years.

Yep, but if we come out strong and win them. It will do wonders for the team attitude and confidence. Plus send a message that we intend to contend.

If we can win some games early, I think we have a chance to finally win the division.

Right Z. If possible try to get a lead in the division as soon as we can. Let them chase us and not the other way around for once.

Yeah it's better to face Houston/San Antonio early on in the season while both teams are still getting adjusted and getting team chemistry going rather than playing them later when they'll have their acts together.

San Antonio is just like us, pretty much the same core with some role players changing. So they won't need much time to get going, hopefully neither will we. In Houston's case, even though they are working some major rotation players in the mix. I think they want to play us early while they are still relatively healthy.
