63 52 at the half... lakers looking flat but down only 11 despite it... lakers defense is suffering... they really need to work on their switches... or stop doing them altogether... davins and jackson keep runing the same play where fish and vlad rad end up on davis with jackson parked on the 3 point line... same as last night

kobe is just standing around on d.. gambling the passing lanes and not rotating at all...

Yup. Man it's pain just to watch whenever you see Open shots for Jackson and Davis. And it's usually from the perimeters.

I hope they don't let themselves be like the Dallas where Warriors keep on kicking their azz in the playoffs.

It figures...another nail biter in the 4th quarter between these two teams... Lakers up by 6, but thats not a lead at all against the Warriors.

I'm not a huge fan of JA Adande's, but he made the perfect analogy to playing the Warriors: it's like fighting a crazy man. No one wants to fight a crazy dude, right? I feel the exact same way about GS. When Davis, Ellis or Jax gets hot, and the team gets that amazing crowd behind it, and they're seemingly running six guys out on the court, trapping everyone in sight, GS looks like they can beat anybody.

man the Lakers really struggled with that zone.

Whats up with Ronny not looking to shoot from point blank range for the past 3-4 games? I'm not sure why he didn't look to turn and face when he got the ball at the free throw line and at least fake an attack. The Lakers really struggled offensively without an offensive threat down low.

His defensive presence was huge today however. Challenging everything in the paint.

Sasha sure made up for that bad turnover with a nice 3 pointer followed by a great pass to LO. Big game for him.

Kobe was very frustrating in the 4th and overtime. Forcing too many high difficulty shots and not moving the ball when all his team mates where making shots. I know he's got a bum ankle, but thats even more reason not to force 20 ft fallaways.

Big win though, still chasing NO in the loss column.

looking forward to a less stressful week with CHA and MEM on deck next.

I think SoCal will be able to watch those two even without Gasol and Bynum lol.

EDIT: is this the last of the back to backs for the Lakers?

BA stands for "Block Against".which means he was blocked as he was attempting to score.

ie. Coby Karl: 2BA means he was blocked on 2 attempts

The best part about Odom is when he makes a mistake, he still keeps battling now as opposed to last year and the year before when he would shy away from doing anything after getting blocked or something like that.

But yeah, Odom is the first laker in 13 years to get two 20 rebound games back to back. The last person was Vlade Divac (lol you'd think it's shaq).

Notice also that Pau is gone and now Odom is playing great still. My worry was what would happen if Pau went down and how Odom would do but Odom is finally playing like a second option when we need him most.

Kudos to Odom and his bit of history.
